Busy Weekend and Birthdays

Happy Tuesday Everyone! it's a sunny morning after two days of rainy weather. However, it's gotten cold again and I hate to put the heat on. Mother Nature certainly is driving us crazy. Mother's Day was a blast even though it rained. Everyone was able to get here without incident and got home safely. Not only did we celebrate Mothers Day but we had two birthdays...my grandson turned 14 yrs old and my daughter (her birthday is actually today). Since it's her birthday she took the day off from work and we're going to do lunch with her sister and have a girls afternoon. Tonight I'm going to make her a nice roast which she loves. Yesterday was a crazy busy day too which started off with a follow-up to the dentist from my oral surgery. All is coming along well. Then we had some errands to run, made a stop at the Fed Ex to drop off a package, Dollar Tree and then to buy paint for my daughters room. She's so excited to get some bright colors and her brother will be coming in about a week and a half to do the job. Seems as if my life runs in spurts....it's quiet for the longest time and then wham it gets busy, busy, busy. I still need to catch up here as I've really fallen far behind.
