Just when I was about to give up

When I was younger, I already planned how my life and career path should go. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, things did not went well. I have been thru a lot of ups and downs but mostly downs. 
I remember one time. I was so depressed because I gained a lot of rejections and by the time that I finally said to myself that I wanted to give up, a new blessing came and changed my life in full 360 degrees.
How about you guys? Have you reach the verge of giving up at some point?

Yes, many times this has happened.
Just, when I was about to give up a thought of settling down because I can't find a right man, I met my husband... He was the perfect one....
Though now I again feel, why did I settle down heheheh

I remember a saying that goes this way: the winner never quits. The quiter never wins. Thus, giving up is accepting a defeat.
