Actually I do not know anyone, but there is a lot of information about it on the Internet. I never had a diet, I did not have a need, I am satisfied with my appearance.

@Jerene Exactly, it looks like I put food in my pocket and not in my mouth

Yes, I did. It is more about what you eat than the exercise you do. I lost it by changing habits rather than dieting. I kept it off as the habits became natural.
I went through Slimming World, which is not a diet but a lifestyle change. There is no 'forbidden' foods, just better ways to prepare them and healthier alternatives. Most of what I did involved little more than paying more attention to ingredients and creating more meals from scratch.
Diets never worked for me. If exercise worked, I'd never have needed to go on a diet! I did start exercising to tone myself but only after I'd lost about half the weight I lost in total (which is over 6 stone).

I have two friends on the Keto diet. They both look more healthy than they ever have. They have both lost over 80lbs. As for exercise, they do get that while working around their homes, but neither have manual labor jobs, neither do any form of work out.
I doubt I'd have the discipline to live the Keto diet, but it works really well for them.

I once did a Keto diet but got so very sick on it that I stopped it.
I did lose a few pounds but sorry to say they went back on when I stop.
Exercise might be a big part of the picture for losing extra weight.

I lost a lot of weight eating only chicken and broccoli, but I did have some exercise (walking the bridge every other night). there really isn't a way to lose weight doing only one or the other. losing weight is about burning off more than you consume, so it kind of goes hand in hand
