@Acefun My wife, now my ex, did not love my parents as I did. I appreciated the free rent that they gave us.

@1hopefulman I understand that some of them can get along but some just cannot. The husband is in the middle so it is better to separate them to have a harmony life. Sorry for not having a good marriage. Hope your children love you.

no i don't, because i've got a job 700 km away. my brother and sister still live with my parents, i guess if i had a job in the same city as them i would be still living with them, but if i have the choice, i would leave for sure. In my country, kids live with parents as long as they are in the same city. there's no reason for anyone to move from home.

There is no choice for you, otherwise it is costly and you have to wake up super early to work.

We ended up living with my parents for a few months not long after we got married. It was awful. The worst part is, my mom and my wife didn't get along at first. Two very different, but very opinionated women. It was necessary at the time, and we appreciated the help. We all were happy when it wasn't necessary anymore though. Now my wife and mother get along great. :~)

That is great at least it is a lovely ending. At first they might not knowing each other and some of their practice might not correct on the other one opinion, thus conflict arise.
