After arriving at the park bright and early, we met our two coordinators who gave us a brief history of the beautiful park and their great partners that have volunteered time and money to continue these types of projects. Our goal for the day was to enhance one of the park entrances with new species of trees and shrubs while removing invasive species. We began by removing about 10 yards of invasive weeds and leaves and then planted native shrubs and plants. We had such a great time learning about the history of the park and having a positive impact with our time. We look forward to going back to the park and seeing how the new plants and shrubs bloom soon.

Sounds like you created a nice and lovely place in the park. Parks can be very relaxing. They have a lovely park here from which you can see the beach and the ocean.

it is so nice that you and your team work cleaned and cut off all the invasive weed around the park. I hope you can take photos of it and show it to us later!
