Good Morning

It's been a good morning. The sun is out and shining bright, but it won't last. I see the clouds hovering overhead.
I've been up since 1:30 this morning. I went to bed at about the same time I do every night. I think I'm going to need to stay up later so I can get up by 2:30 and no later than 3.
I was in the pool by 5 or soon after. I had a good workout in the pool and the whirlpool felt like heaven. My knees and back are much better today. Fewer people in the pool this morning. Six with me. Four when we checked in. It made it easy to swim the lap lanes. One person per lane.
After swimming, it was time to get the end of the month staples. With as much as they give me or not give me for my foodshare, I knew I couldn't get much. I have bananas, potatoes, onions, mushrooms, and water. That's all I needed.

@just4him I am so happy to hear that. Do you go to the pool all the week days, or some days a week?

Is it your routine to swim everyday? Or is it a part of your recovery from sickness?

@just4him It's one of the good physical exercises as what I read it. I am not a good swimmer. I usually swim to pool not over my height.

wonder why they figure naners 's staples? they ruin so quickly 'n 'nless ya've room to freeze 'em many 're jest left to rot. interestin' mix 'f goods they provided, though i'm certain yer gonna make good use 'f 'em.

My naners don't ever go to rot. They might not be anybody else's staples, but I usually have two bananas every morning. I need more than one small bunch of them. I usually buy three or four bunches at a time. I use them to make pancakes and banana nut porridge besides eating them as is. My staples also include eggs, but I buy 2-3 boxes of them at the beginning of the month - that's 15 dozen eggs. I usually go through about 10 dozen a month, but I've been eating more of them lately, so bought 3 boxes this month.

@crazyhorseladycx Yes, it is. I don't worry about running out of something to eat, even if I don't take anything out of the freezer. Some days, I don't want meat or fish.

I like it when the pool has few people and we have more space to swim. Glad that your knees and feet are feeling better.

I know I need more veggies in my diet. Other than potatoes and onions, I really don't eat much of anything else. I do have riced cauliflower and broccoli in the freezer. I'm starting to run low after two months.
