Veggies, veggies yeah.I can remember how mom tried to incorporate more veggies on our meal(me and my brother). Some days she even withhold my favourite dish if I don't finish with the veggies first.I can remember too how Spinach became a glorified vegetable from the shows of Popeye the sailor man,but I still disliked them as a kid. As an adult now,I learnt their value though.I acquired taste for most veggies but still the thing that I don't like are sweet potatoes. Many people find them tasty but I don't.I don't like radishes too, their smell is refreshing but I don't like eat them. What about you ? Are you picky about vegetables? Image:kidslive.wordpress.com

I am glad that I never troubled my mom for that. I love all veggies and fruits that I have tried so far. Some are too delicious, some delicious and some okay. I am thankful that my daughters eat all on their plate except bitter gourd.

Well, I can't remember whether I was obliged to eat vegerables or not when I was younger. I guess I did not have any problem with eating them because my mom always incorporated them in all her recipes so I got used to it. At present I don't mind eating either veggies or vegetables both are good when combined with something else.

I do appreciate the importance of greens and vegetables and eat 1 head of some kind of lettuce and some tomatoes, cucumbers and zucchinis just about every day and anything that looks good like red peppers, okra, etct. They are very important foods!

I like most vegetables but not all vegetables. I prefer cooked vegetables to raw ones. What I like raw are tomatoes.

I'm not really that picky with my veggies. I believe brussel sprouts, turnips, beets, & radishes are the only veggies I don't like. I try to eat mainly a plant based diet anyway since it is better for my health. I actually love a lot of the meat substitutes that stores have.

When I was a kid, I used to eat sweet potato for our afternoon snack. My late mother boiled them. Once they're already cooked, we eat them coupled with hot coffee.

Veggies are not my favorite either although I have learned to eat a few of the basic ones. No spinach or cauliflower for me though. Funny you mentioned sweet potato. That is one veggie I learned to like.
