I do a little web design (if you can call it that). I made a web site for work-at-home moms ( http://www.momsopnet.com). I haven't updated this one in a while since I have been working a lot with paid blogging. I have recently been creating my own blogs. I learned how to modify templates and it's really fun to create a personalized blog. I have a few of those:

I have two blogs--
putthatcoffeedown.blogspot.com -- humorous observations and other stuff
podcastparty.blogspot.com -- stories on podcasts, music, technology, etc.
I also write for some writing/blogging sites, and am learning HTML so I can design my own site to showcase my writing work for potential clients.

My server is Verizon, I was able to make my website through Verizons server. It is part of my monthly internet connection service.
I also was able to build another website through GDI, that has a seven day free trial, but is $10 a month after that. Here is the link for the site I built there: http://carysmemories.ws

I've created a few in the past but stopped paying my hosting fees to save some money, so they are gone at this point
