Sometimes your oily skin can be a dry one

Seems we all can identify the type of our skin.If it reacts to different products and often irritated and inflamed, it is a sensitive type.If the skin is often red and flaky, and feels very tight after shower, it is dry.If its plump, but oily to touch with visible pores and very often with blackheads, the skin is oily.If your skin is oily in T-zone( nose, chin and forehead areas), but dry and sensitive on cheeks, it is so called combination skin. However pretty often people tend to prescribe themselves those types they don`t have in fact.If you notice that your skin produce extra sebum, it doesn`t mean you need to wash it more often or more thoroughly or use harsh products which block producing of extra sebum.Sometimes it can be the sign of dehydration and because of all those oil-stripping face washers and toners, your skin has to produce more sebum in order to protect itself from overdrying. Every type of skin needs the moisture and mild cleanser. If you want to reduce sebum production, moisturise your skin with mild organic products, as aloe vera gel, rose water, natural cold-pressed oil, according to your type.Use gentle cleanser which can be cheakpea flour, honey, or organic soap, produced from natural oils.Treat your skin with care ,as if it is your baby and skin will thank you with glowing and healthy look!

I use very sparingly for combination skin as I find cream for dry skin does not absorb so easily for me at least.

Agree. I Also have combination type of skin and most preferable moisturiser for me either Aloe vera gel or apricot kernel or jojoba oil which absorb fast without leaving heavy feeling on skinduring hot summer days I prefer just rose water instead as a lightweight toner and moisturiser.

When its very hot I use anything very sparingly as well as it feels all gooey otherwise there are good creams with jojoba and aloe vera and they are a bit pricey but they last you much much longer than the ordinary jar of cream.

@lovinangelsinstead21 yeah, when it's hot I don't feel like putting smth on skin, smth light will do the work. Good products cost more but serve much longer as you don't need them much

Thank you for appreciation!Rose water is a mild astringent toner of organic origin, which is hydrosol from fresh rose petals.I use it as a toner and a refreshing mist.It has soothing and anti-aging properties and most important it is good for any skin type.

The information you shared seems interesting. You have not talked about washing the face with mild soap?

Thank you. Mild soap preferably of organic origin is a must thing to have clean and healthy skin. Such soaps don't mess with natural pH balance of our skin and don't disrupt that mantle barrier which prevents any kind of inflammations.

I am using Nivea right now for my dry skin. It helps and I also have a moisturizer.

Yes I did know that you can overstrip your oily skin with many harsh thiings so just avoid oily moisturizers and use oil-free and don't over work it either.
