My FB Account Is Hacked!

I was panicky when I couldn't no.longer access my Facebook account. I would be losing my tons of friends, personal memorable photos of my work and of my family.
What should I do? The question that is bothering in my confused mind. This is the first time that ever happened to me. I would be saying goodbye to my 10-year-old FB account.
Is there a way or means to recover it?

.....I hope the miscreant didn't mess up with your social image. You can quickly open another account and notify other friends that your account is hacked but it would be a quite a lot of work.@Nakitakona (58527)

don't panic, read the instruction, that will help you. once my instgram account was hacked and I report to them and they resolve it
