All said and done I prefer dogs to cats as pets

We have had many dogs as pets and the last one was Preiti who more than proved that dogs are better pets. I can write a book on Preiti with the happy role she played in keeping me merrily on my toes taking care of her and at every step, there was gratitude shown. We have had cats too but they I notice only bother about themselves although I do enjoy seeing them finish eating whatever I give them

I love all animals. I’ve always had both cats and dogs together and loved them equally.

I like both, but I surely prefer cats, I would never keep a dog.

@LadyDuck Preiti was a perfect pet. Well behaved in every way. Even as a pup she did not mess in the house. All our dogs behaved very well.

@allknowing And they bark and it's hard to teach them not to bark.

I also prefer dogs over cat because they be better manage than with cats. They are also good guards of home since they would really make noise when they see strangers to warn them off. But I have no problems about cats roaming around my place and if they decide to stay in my place I wouldn't mind them there.

I am a dog person totally.... I love them.... Cats are kind of cute but they have their own world.... So hoomans aren't of much importance to them...

My mom never liked cats, so I didn't grow up with them. Besides I was allergic to cat fur. But I loved dogs for sure as we had them. I often thought dogs tended to be more "personable" than cats . . . though we don't have one now, I've always felt a connection with dogs.

I like both cats and dogs equally! I think as animals they offer different perks to the household. My cat is very independent, and while she is lovable, she only wants to be loved on her terms. Any time else, she wants to be left alone. My dog, however, always wants love which is really nice. He's a great companion, and it's always nice to be able to take him out around the town, too!
