There is a right way, and a wrong way

There is a right way and a wrong way to get good sleep at night. I do it the wrong way. I stay online until I am so tired I cannot keep my eyes open. Not good. As soon as I get in bed my mind is running in circles. So, tonight, as soon as I post this, I will get off the computer, tidy some things and crawl in bed, hopefully to sleep. It has been an interesting, but soggy day.

I always stop my computer activities before dinner, that we consume at 8 pm. After dinner I clean the kitchen, watch a movie with my husband and I read in bed (real paper book), until I feel that I am ready to sleep.

@GardenGerty Staying away from the computer at least a couple of hours before going to sleep helps.

I cultivate a habit of reading before going to bed, which helps me sleep well.I usually turn off the computer at 9 pm.

I do the same with whatever my current book might be. Read until I'm reading the same paragraph over and over. Zzzzzz.

If it is not an electronic book that is supposed to be good for you. I need to do some bedtime reading as well. Last night I crocheted.

It’s best to stay off all technology before bed and go to bed the same time each night. I have a routine which works for me.

Yep, that will help. I wind down an hour after turning all of it off before I go to bed.

It is a good plan. None of these earning sites are worth losing sleep over. I sleep mostly about six hours at night. would like to bump it up to seven.

it doesn't sound go when head only tired that might mean too much staring at close up screen. I am not going to make you worry but do more active things in real life besides going to sleep and stay away from screens that emits too much light and displays lots of movments and colors.

Yes, the key to good sleep is to get away from electronics more. I am active. I try to go outside some every day, even if it has rained or is raining.
