A fun question even if your married or in a relationship already. What object or observation would you find in a potential steady boyfriend/girlfriends home would prove your not compatible with them?
I would have to say scantily clad women in posters or pictures on the fridge or on the walls.....

That would be a good one that I never thought about. I guess I just take it for granted that my husband would never do that. Maybe I should appreciate him a little more for not doing that.
I would not want someone who smokes. To me the smoke smells very nasty, and it coats the inside of your home with yellow film which has to constantly be cleaned off, if it can be. It's hard on my lungs and on the lungs of anyone else who would come to visit. No thanks!

That's funny you mention that! I was a smoker and my boyfriend now wasn't when we first started dating, he made an exception with me, and since I wanted to quit anyway, that just helped me more to do it. I didn't want him to feel like he was kissing an ashtray and have to smell nicotine on me. I've been smoke-free for 4 yrs now! He is so proud of me and praises me because he knows how hard it is to quit, I quit cold turkey too, but I'm healthier and happier.....

Well, it was stated as a "fun" question not to be taken seriously, and sometimes there are things people have in their home that a person may feel, they don't have similar interests in to be "compatible" with that person.....

Its important not to judge a person just on their environment, although that it is a good indicator among others. If sexy posters bother you then for sure you wouldn't want to spend your life with that person. Smoking makes a difference because I am allergic to smoke. Mostly, I look for a sensitive, warm hearted person, gentle in spirit and action. That is the man I am married to now.
