Let's continue our trivia series and explore some more terrific tunes with an exercise term in the title. When it comes to exercising adults aren't the only ones working out to get in shape. Kids do their fair share of exercise too, although theirs is much more fun, And "Where Do The Children Play?" On the playground of course! I'll let Cat Stevens introduce today's clues with one of his tunes from the album "Tea For The Tillerman." Whodunnit? Do you know these songs and artists: 1. This song is about exploring knowledge in a changing world. The group's most popular period of recording was the late 60's and 70's. Their albums usually contained a concept to them and the song on this album was one of many tracks about quest and discovery. The song has become one of the band's most popular live tunes. It is regularly scheduled as the finale performance of the band in stage shows before any extended encores. This British group began as a R&B band, part of the British Invasion. Once they began using a Mellotron, they developed their signature sound. The band's name was derived from their moody early image of never smiling, and the type of music they were playing. 2. This song is about guys who go to a club after work, listen to music and have a good time. A popular piece of playground equipment is part of the song title, the term could also mean a style of music. This 1978 tune was a definite change from the fading disco style and the beginning punk movement. The British group based their name from their financial condition when they started out in the early days. This tune was the band's first hit single off their 1978 album of the same name. The group had their most commercially successful single in 1985, which reached #1 in the U.S., and was a video staple on MTV. The song's theme was about money. Sting sang backing vocals on the track's chorus, using his signature falsetto voice familiar on many of his "Police" tracks. Bonus: Our video artist Cat Stevens' had his first US Top-10 hit in 1970. The song usually ended his live performances and became an anthem for the hippie movement due to the song's message. Do you know the name of this song? Ok, it's time to "fit" those clues together and come up with the answers...If your stuck and need additional help just let me know in your response. You can "lean on me" if more clues are needed. As always, thanks for reading and responding to my music post !!!! Source- Wikipedia & songfacts.com Photo- pinterest.com
