i do.it's manageable for the moment.
but the pain will come to me once every few years.
The pain can be very killing.
Anyone having similar problem?

Ahhhh....yes, I did have that problem a couple of years ago, only solved by surgery (a lumbar spinal fusion). Basically, the discs got so compressed, I could feel bone rubbing on bone (ouch!!). It is very painful, but my suggestion to you is to hold off as long as you can before going under the knife. Not that it's a bad thing, but it will change your life and the way you do things. Personally, I'm a back surgery survivor or poster child (as my surgeon says) but I was dealing with constant, daily, aggrevating pain with it. It will take years before it gets really bad (my experience). What I would suggest is to take glucosamine and coundroiton (spelling?) with a joint filler, and that will help tremendously. P.S. - I really like your prof pic!! It's very similar to mine, which was taken during an autumn sunset from my man's boat... :-)
