A small "project" for The Horse!

My front door was getting harder and harder to open and close. I figured that the wood had expanded, due to the ran and humidity, and didn't think much of it. But when the problem remained after the rains had gone, I took a closer look. It turns out that the screws in the hinges had worked loose. A project! I was worried that the screws might be stripped, but they were not. I was able to tighten all 12 (three hinges) in about three minutes. Now the door opens and shuts with out any protest, and there's even more clearance over the throw rug I have just inside the door. Any mini-projects at your house this weekend?

I have a ladder and shims. Can you cook up some steaks? Your post made me smile. Sometimes (for about 10 mins, usually) I wish I had a hubby or a wife.

I made a bowl to put outside with dry pellets for the cats. I wanted something heavy that does not move when the wind blows, I had a bag of cement in the garage and I was able to make a pretty nice bowl.

@TheHorse yes, pretty much. Saturday I wasn't having a good day but I didn't want my brother to run errands alone so I went out anyway. Boy did I regret it! But the rest of the weekend was fine.

Would you want one? I love it when something is "slightly wrong" and I know how to fix it.

I've noticed that my refrigerator creaks when I open and close the door. What do you think causes that?

It's gonna cost you. You have to listen to one of my YouTube videos. Heh. Nah, I'm going to check my fridge door and see how it's hooked up. Could the hinges be tires and corroded? Could some WD-40 help?
