It always seemed like such an easy concept to me. That is, making a million dollars.
I mean, think about it. You really just have to come up with something. An idea, a product...something.
If you can get $1 from a million interested people. Voila! There's your million bucks. Or you can find something to sell for $2 to 500,000 people. How about something for $3 to 333,333 people? Or something for $5 to just 200,000 people?
Of course, as is life, it is more difficult to do this than not. And any people HAVE put out interesting products and still found it difficult to attract the masses to it.
But it is fun thinking about it.

I could definitely try doing that @JohnRoberts. Although I might have bit of a problem if and when the Secret Service knocks on my door.

It's not only about an idea. But the first one who dares to capture it and deliver it. Many of us take so much of time to implement the idea that it becomes old by then. So a quick action is so much needed.

I have something but it will cost more than a couple dollars, but I have to research patents first, I cannot understand if no one had tried my idea already.
It is an easy concept but harder to patent, manufacturer and then market.
Most people make a million in their lifetime but they blow it all on all those "seen on t.v. $2.00 items."

@andriaperry Don't get me started on how people waste money. The BIGGEST culprit, really? Not watching for sales, and not shopping multiple stores. One other big waste and I see this all the time...people go and get $100 worth of groceries, and then stop off for lunch at a fast food restaurant. As for my own money waste, I generally consider any money I waste as that which I can afford to waste. Most people who waste money cannot afford to waste what they are wasting.

It's a lot harder than it seems! And you have to spend money to make money. Those $2 products to sell to 500,000 people cost money!

I think the fastest way to make a million dollars is to come up with a good idea to sell a product and do so. Lots of people are interested in making money online and blogging. There are people out there that sell good blogging products for $2000. Then all you need to do is sell your blogging course to 500 people. Some make a million dollars through investing. I read somewhere online that a person took 10K and made a million dollars with a high yield investment in 20 months. I sure would like to find out how he did that.

I agree. Given that as long as I can reflect, I always had thoughts of doing great big things. However I'm not the only one that thinks like this. Lots of people dream big.
If you dream like I do, then we are alike. Dreaming entails thinking of someway you can become wealthy. While arriving could be hard, needing to deal with problems and also failures in the process, it's worth while. Anyone reaching a huge goal understands just how real that declaration is.
While we all like to dream big, most of us desire and go about it in different ways. Sometimes we fall short of those goals, but if we try hard enough, we can turn those dreams into a reality.
