It's always lovely when your cat brings you a birthday present!

It was my birthday yesterday and it was a lovely relaxing day at home. I got phone calls from Adam's two sisters and my sister but the weather was a bit grim so I just put my feet up and watched TV - lovely and relaxing. My gorgeous cat Ollie then brought me the most wonderful present! While I was watching TV I heard him come through the cat flap and make some 'prooting' noises and he then walked through to me with what I surmised was my birthday dinner. He was holding a dead mole - quite a large one so he probably thought we could share it! I wasn't too impressed - if I'd had a receipt I would have taken it back! - but I told Ollie he was a clever boy, thanked him for the present and then, once he was asleep, placed it back in the meadow! Wonder what he'll bring me next year - it's my 60th!!
