Good morning.Well not a good one.I had my first fall on the tennis court.
Luckily I fell on my butt not the whole body.
This is a warning for me.
This was my first fall.I am just a stubborn Italian man do not know to hang up his hat.Luckily I am in better shape than most people of my age. This was a plus.
Workout and work with weights helped me a lot.
Did not play a game just hitting tennis balls .
that was a warning sign.To hang up my racquet

Falling is no laughing matter as we get older. You were lucky! Just keep moving even if you do choose to hang up your racquet!

I don't think you need to hang up your tennis racquet. Instead, you could maybe just hit a few tennis balls, without trying to improve your swing. Do it out of love for this sport, but be very careful at the same time:) I fell walking Kobe the other day. After a week, I will be back walking him again! My shoulder hurts, but it's not broken.

@amadeo After I fell, I got angry, also. Not at Kobe, but at myself for being to clumsy!

I think that you have the strength that you do as a result of being active, and that includes playing tennis.
Not many 80-something year old guys could keep up with you.
Stubborn, yeah maybe you are, but that can be a good thing.
Old, no, I don't believe you there, you are young at heart.
Italian, yeah, I know that you are, you are very proud (and rightfully so) of your heritage.
I don't think it was a sign to hang up your racquet, maybe it was just a bad day is all.

As long as you have good opposition, there is always fun in playing games, it does not matter you fell or not , as long as you can get up and play again

Oh, I am sorry that happened Alfredo. Around 4 years ago, I fell off my bike onto the pavement and scraped myself up, it could have been worse. It did sadden me because I realized right then, "I will never ride a bike again", which is sad because I was always the kid and teen who loved to ride bicycles.
