I replaced the wrong Ink

Philippines

Few weeks ago I bought a black ink to refill my printer. But to my surprised it was the colored one that ran out. Good thing it was okay for mom when we printed out these certificates that has thick paper on it. Anyways, I've also thought about replacing the printer since we had it back in 2013. But then I prefer replacing my laptop first. Have a nice day.

Is the printer still running ok? We tend to not replace the printer until it looks like it's dying out. Even though I can probably figure out how to change the inks myself, I just have Hubby do it .

@Letranknight2015 Ah. I know nothing technical about printers or computer anything - but sometimes it is better to get a new one than to fix it. But as long as it is basically working . . . then prolong it as long as possible .

Hello @much2say Yeah but inside, it's probably needed some maintenance. I can only change the inks as well.

Hi LK, it seems that you got so mad with the cadtrige that you are punishing the printer and menancing to change it.

Hello @dainy1313 I was more upset with thick papers getting jammed in the printer, the ink was easily installed.

Sometimes we make such mistakes. And ink is so very expensive.

Hello @marguicha yes, you're right they're very expensive. But at least it's being used often.

@Letranknight2015 I also accidentally tried to replace the wrong ink and so put that away and changed the right one.

It won't be noticed when you're printing out black and white documents for the colored inks aren't in use.

Hello @Nakitakona they usually dried up but that's just my suspicion.

@Letranknight2015 Make it a habit to check the ink box for it's disastrous to let it dried for it will affect its tube to clog up. To have up repaired it's costly compared to a refill ink.
