Do you enjoy swimming? Is it something you look forward to in the summer?

I do love swimming, but I haven't tried kayak yet, I have opportunity to try it, but I deny to do it because I don't know how to swim in deep water

I do swim in a water just on my shoulder level. I am not a good swimmer. I do love boating too.

I love swimming. Sadly summer is finishing and I haven’t swam as much as I want to. I could do it everyday if I could drive. But I’m at the mercy of the majority these days and swimming seems to be at the last on their priority list.

I never learned to swim, I am scared by water, I like boating. We are near two lakes we often go there.

I have been on a boat and jet ski a few times, its quite fun - don't own any though! As far as swimming, I'm not good so I just swim a pool but not often. I do love going to the beach and hanging out, dipping my feet in the water & enjoying the breeze/sun. Happy Summer!

We have a pond that I Iove to fish on, we live not too far from the Atlantic ocean and enjoy going to the beach, but I never get in the water. Too terrifying for me.

I love anything water related. We had an inground pool installed at our last house, swim every chance I get, and love boating when I wear my patch. My husband keeps talking about getting a boat, but I don’t want our own.

No not a swimmer, but know how to swim. I never did boating, but did go out on a little row boat for fishing. Went out on a university research ship, but got sea sick and they had to turn back to drop me off back on shore. Surrounded by the ocean on Oahu you'd think I'd love the ocean, but I had a very negative experience when I was young. We often went to the beach for clam digging and oyster gathering or squid hunting. I was playing in the beach about waist high water. I was so happy cooling off and just standing in the ocean. Suddenly, I felt a sandpaper feeling on my right leg. I looked into the water and jumped out as fast as I could. It didn't feel like sea weed at all! I kept looking at the spot where I was standing, and didn't see anything. Sharks feel like sandpaper so I never ventured into the ocean after that considering it a warning to me which I took very seriously. I will sit on the beach watching the waves, but that's about it.

I love swimming and boating. I had to give up my regular swimming when I had to end my gym membership. There is a pool nearby but their timetable is not very good. It's great that they offer lessons and classes but it does limit the times for public use. The gym swimming pool was available all day, every day! As for boating, there are a few places that we can take a boat trip or hire a pedalo, canoe or rowing boat. These tend to be expensive and quite short trips. I'd love to just take a boat out on a river and stay on the water all day.
