Have you ever been in a car accident?

been in a couple. Worst was on my way to universty. Dad driving, mom in passenger seat. Me in seat behind. None of us wearing seat belts doing 55 down hwy in our van. Guy pulls out perpendicular in front of us from side road. BaAAMMM.... Mom to the hospital with broken nose. DaD and I had exact same injuries...scraped exact same knuckles...freaky. Caught a ride to the airport from a woman who was out taking her dog for a ride. She was a great samaritan.

no not that i would call as an accident had a car run into the rear of my car but it wasn`t any thing major

Yes, I have been in a car accident. The last one that I was in was not my fault and got rear ended on I95 by someone who was not paying attention. Fortunately it was bumper to bumper traffic at the time and I did not get hit very hard. I have been a passenger once before in an accident and had whiplash from it.

No, I haven't been in a car accident. My mother has been in several. Both times the other person didn't have insurance.

I have been in 2 car accidents. The first one was minor and happened after I first got my drivers license. I hit a car that was in front of me getting on the interstate. They stopped after getting the front of their car out onto the interstate and I started going before I realized they had stopped. The second accident was worse. My mother and I were driving and the road was wet. My mom lost control of the car and we hit one tree and the side of the car bounced off it and hit the front end into another tree. We hit the front end hard enough to bust the battery. We were not going fast but it felt like it when we hit. I was not wearing my seat belt and my head busted both the side and front windows. When I went to the emergency room the next day (I know I should have went that day) I found out I was pregnant with my first son. Thankfully all was well with him.

I have been in several little ones when I was younger, riding with goofy friends. I was in one major one when I was 16. I was in the car with a friend and her mother was driving. She pulled out in front of a car and it was going about 55mph. I was lucky to walk away with a few bumps and bruises and a concussion. My friend was unhurt and her mom was severly injured, she was in the hospital for two weeks and had internal bleeding. To this day I avoid that intersection when I am driving.

Yes I was in a car accident in 1999, beautiful day, dry streets stopped behind someone waiting on traffic so they could make a left turn across traffic, I was also waiting to make a left turn across traffic and some idiot plowed into me from the rear. He told the investigating officer I made a sudden stop. What made this even better the car ahead of me waiting to make a left turn was a detective in an unmarked vehicle and there were two marked vehicles passing when I was hit. My car was ttld. 88 cougar 2-door, trunk popped open,rear seat pushed up, rear 1/4 panel rippled and this was an old car with real metal not plastic. The officer said if I had been moving when I was hit I probably would've plowed into the car ahead of me.

I was in a bad accident in Gainesville, FL two years ago. It almost killed my elderly fil. A drunk driver made a turn in front of me and I t-boned him. I've been a nervous driver ever since then. Hopefully, one of these days I will be able to relax a little again.

i have never had a car accident.. but i sure had a very severe bike accident..
