Like most, when you hear a song, I put it to my life in some way. It’s natural right. Well, CMT had throwback videos today, I guess because it’s Thursday and somehow it became throwback day. Sucks that I’m officially a throwback but I guess that’s what it is. In The Dance video, Garth speaks about what the song means to him. He was saying that he sees it as a song about life and those that have left us. The video itself had pictures of John Wayne, Martin Luther King Jr, John F Kennedy And a bull rider Lane Frost I think. Even the Apollo team we lost made an appearance. I think he’s right. Life is this big dance and we could miss the pain of it but then we’d miss all the joy. The joy outweighs the bad I think.
