Thought of the day #6

I wouldn't say this is a thought of the day we'll it could be depending on how you look at it. My neighbor was recently diagnosed with cancer and I've had people in my family who had cancer who've been through chemo radiation and I know how sick and awful it makes you feel and I thought I'd do something nice take her trash to the road so the trash people could pick it up and bring it back in once it's done she texted me and she was like I didn't expect you to take my trash and I'm like well I'm just doing something nice and she's like not a lot of people are nice these days and I greatly appreciate it. I told her a little kindness goes a long way and if she needed anything to message me or just ask I don't mind. I guess my thought of the day is why can't people be a little bit more kind without expecting anything in return? I was raised to help your neighbors help if you can be respectful and not expect anything in return. So I guess what i would like to ask is everyone try to just be a little more kind do something kind for someone else as little as it could be are as big as you want it doesn't matter kindness goes a long way to making the world a better place.
