Is your mother-in-law your great rival over your husband’s love?

I have seen daughters-in-law who have cried a lot over their mothers-in-law not- so appropriate attitude towards them. They tend to meddle in their affairs and worse, give wrong advice to their sons that may ruin their marriages. I have heard families ruined by meddlesome mothers-in-law. They are jealous of their sons love for their wives. I hope these mothers in law should respect the marriage being blessed by God and that theirs sons are not theirs anymore. They must learn how to love the women loved by their sons. Do you agree?

Some may have this issue. However, I'm lucky as I don't have this problem with my mother-in-law. My husband has always been close to his mom. And she and I have always had a good relationship too. There hasn't ever really been any issues.

I have a very nice mother-in-law. The relationship between her and my husband is very close, but she is not jealous at me, and she has always been nice to me.

@Janet357 That is true. My ex's mother was very different, and it was very hard to be around her. That is the reason why I really appreciate my husband's mother. She is much nicer.

she has a commendable trait. not all in laws are like that.
