Do you consider statues in the church to be idols.

he book of exodus chapter 20 verse 22 the bible states:Then the LORD said to Moses, "Tell the Israelites this: 'You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven: 23 Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold. So does this amke other religious staues such as the saintes and Mary idols?

Yes, in a sense it does. Don't Catholics also put Mary above 'God'?
