In my country it is very expensive to buy one of those dogs that are royalty. They walk them nd earn prizes and medals. But I did not want to walk a dog to the front pages nor earn medals. So I bought Luna.
In fact, this is Luna II. The first one, one of her sisters, lasted 1 day. Some mean person put his hand through the fence and stole it. I fixed the fence (around the price of a dog) and bought another dog. It was Luna´s sister and I decided to name her Luna too.
Now, if I add up all that I have spent in Luna, it is more than raising a child. She almost destroyed my brick wall and I had to place a wire fence over it. She destroyed my garden. She has dug holes everywhere and eaten all the faucets. She is more intelligent than human beings so that we are not finishing fixing them.
Funny enough, now that she has giant teeth, she won´t bite me as she did when she was a baby. She only licks me with her tongue that is similar to sand paper
Still I love her. And I have an alarm system and done other thing after my house was burglarized. But I trust Luna more.

@marguicha that's good! One of my dogs, Daisy, was a little on the wild side when she was a puppy. She was into everything and even chewed the wood trim in our living room. Now, she is a completely different dog.

@marguicha for sure. How I would love to have a dog but as you said, I break the bank and it is just like you have another child.

She is lovely and I am sure she is good to have around. So sorry she is naughty and damages things.

Luns is adorable and it is good that you have the property to keep her. In my little apartment, there would not be any room for her. If I ever consider getting a dog I will get a lap dog.

Luna does too. She obeys Leticia a lot more than what she obeys me. And Leticia has never hit her.

Awe I’m glad you have a precious dog that is apart of your life. Animals are very expensive. There care is very similar to raising children and all the expense that entails. Dogs need a lot of time and attention. They also require sufficient yard space to be able to run around and play. When I had my cat I remember taking him to the vet and the bill was over $200. It is great though to be able to care for them and love them as dogs can be a person’s best friend.
