A get together to remember / myLot

I had talked about my planning to have a get together in a post earlier It happened yesterday just as planned I had invited 25 and all were there. They were a mix of family, classmates and friends. I had not seen them in years. Every moment spent with them was well worth it. The show stopper was a 97 year old. Privileged to have her as my guest As planned I gifted mangoes from my garden, to each guest They were placed on the tables before the guests arrived. There was just chatting, eating and meeting - no singing and no games. Here are a few pictures of those memories

The hotel staff went out of their way to make us happy. In fact the sole of one of my shoes gave way and they quickly got it repaired. Such was the service. It was indeed a day to remember.

I love get together. It makes me feel so alive and sociable.

So, what was the occasion to celebrated for the get together? The pictures are very nice. The place was nicely decorated and it seems everyone enjoyed it.
