What Are Your Library Habits?

This is, of course, assuming you use a library but, when you go, do you go after a specific book or movie? Or maybe you have a favorite author?
For me, I kind of split things up a bit. I usually wind up getting 2 books at a time. One of them is always by an author I'm familiar with (Agatha Christie, M. C. Beaton, etc.).
The other one is usually chosen at random so I essentially force myself to read something new. So far, that has been hit or miss. I've found some books I've liked but others that just weren't that good.

I really miss having a library close to me. I wish there was one I could walk to. I love reading books. My husband calls me a book junkie. I use to read a book in a few days when there was a library near me. But, now I am lucky if I have time to read one a month.

@srhelmer Sadly, I go without a lot of time because there is not one close to me. If, I do buy books they are use and cheap.

Before I visit the library I usually check the website. The website tells me which books they own and which books are available at the moment. Sometimes I look for books by my favorite authors and sometimes choose authors I don't know.

I usually like to go to the library to see if they have any books for sell. I have found some good books that way.

I don't follow any strategy when it comes to borrowing books. Usually, I just choose 2-3 books which have the potential to intrigue me with its genre, and then I'll start reading from then on.
