One of My Pet Peeves When It Comes to Movies

I came across this again last night, when my wife and I were watching a horror film on Netflix. The movie was decent up until toward the very end, when it just ended. And, when I say ended, I mean it. The engaged couple that had been stalked by killers end up in the same hospital room, stare at each other and that was it. I actually thought the movie got cut off or something because there was no attempt to explain what happened to the baby they found, whether they were going to stay engaged (her fiancé ended up being kind of a coward) or even a confirmation their attackers were dead. It was almost as though they ran out of money and just decided to end the film once the last dollar was spent.

I don't like a movie ending abruptly either and with unanswered things.

It simply means there's a sequel for that film.

I don't that is the case with this film. It was more of a one-and-done type movie.

@srhelmer Well, that's it. But if it were be watched in our country, pretty sure we'll be expecting part 2 of the movie.

I’ve seen too many bad endings, usually the recent ones.
