It’s been a while

I haven’t had time or motivation to post here for months. A lot has happened in my household, but I’ll just touch on the major points. I got the job I applied for last fall. I was being trained to take over the bookkeeping, but then the original bookkeeper quit with no notice. I was pretty much left to learn what the remaining clients needed on my own. This made for a really stressful time. At the beginning of April I made the decision to tough it out through tax season then give my notice. I finished work last week. I am currently unemployed, but my family needed me to be present when I was home. I’ve already noticed a difference in my self and my kids. I’m working on getting my house back in shape then I will start looking for work. This time, I will try to find something different. If I don’t find something until next fall, we will be okay. We will take things one day at a time and enjoy the summer. There are more changes coming up as well. My oldest will start high school in September and my younger kids will move up a grade as well. I’m looking forward to see what the future holds.
