Are the highways where you live filled with trucks driving long distances. I'm a little wary of them as I've noticed a lot of them do dangerous things. They don't look before turning or changing lanes. Their brake lights don't work and they don't have under run protection bars. I've had some close shaves and hence am very careful when they are on the highway. What is your experience with truckers.
Indian highways are filled with murderous driver like this trucker who seems to be having a jolly good time driving on the wrong side of the road without a c...

That is why trucks are not allowed in Road before 11 pm at night. They do not follow traffic rules They do not stop if hit on any vehicle.

@pitstop They do it, so two wheelers won't travel during their time mostly due to fear.

There are no rules. Only after an accident do they get checked or apprehended.

@pitstop I have never looked at truckers that way. Like you said they are on the road a lot so could be exhausted from driving all-nighters or a lot and need to stop and rest but if they have a deadline they may not be able to. I have not driven a car in ages so do not know about all of this. That is very scary.

I drive a major interstate highway everyday to and from work and there are always a lot of 18-Wheelers that are on it all the time. They don't bother me, I give them room while many people do not. Here in the US they are only allowed so many hours a day that they can be driving and the trucks go through inspections quite often.

In the US, I find the big trucks very disciplined and they all stuck to their lanes. It was easy dubbing around them
