** Rolling helps **

For the past two weeks, I'd been thinking on how to organize our wardrobe. It was actually too messy and I had to blame the time here. I did not get good time organizing the stuffs. I actually got some intermediate time, but Mayuri(my daughter) would come and shuffle that all, making the place even more shabby =) Couldn't help myself any better!
Today, I had some time and I asked Mayuri as well to help me do the Organizing work. I tuned her mind such that it was all a game, so that she would be diverted for a while. I planned to give all the smaller clothes(hand towels, towels, her socks, her summer wear.. ) to her.
I was in an idea not to fold the clothes normally. When I do so, it just stays there neatly for a couple of days and then it comes back to square 1. My plan was to ROLL the clothes and pile up neatly. I also had to use two cardboard boxes that I got from Amazon. I covered that neatly with my shawls to get a fancy look. I then put all the winter wear & not-so-frequently used clothes in it and stacked those 2 boxes on the wardrobe.
This idea of rolling the clothes always helps. I watched some youtube video.. in fact it was a hack video that explained how to Organize clothes when we plan to travel. Thank God that struck my mind now.
Mayuri also enjoyed that 30-minute of Organizing activity. She's grabbing few of my responsibilities now .. LOL
Picture is the kids towel that Mayuri got from the flight crew. This is how we rolled most of the clothes and stacked it neatly on the wardrobe. She just likes the towel so much.. Just thought of sharing the image.
How about you guys? How do usually organize your wardrobe? How often you will be invited to do so?

@LadyDuck : Haha! Yeah, I get your point. In fact, my husband helped me completely to pack the baggage for my first abroad trip. You will not believe, he even sorted my handbag and made all the papers(passport & other stuffs) easily accessible.
Learning so many such things from him on a daily basis.

@jstory07 : I'm considering to buy a dozen of hangers and hang few of my dresses. Definitely on the top of the shopping list. I want to fix this once for all, so that the closet doesn't collapse very often.

Haha.. So glad to know that. Sometimes, when we visit our friend's place, I used to take the hint of how they do the Organizing work. I learn that and try to do it for my house too! :-) I love that learning.
Yeah - for packing, it's mostly recommended by frequent travelers.

Since my fiance & I are settling in, everything is hung. Most of my clothes is still in boxes. I need more hangers to be more organized. I have a large walk in closet to work with :)

@smileyhema Thank you!
Yes, we need some more hangers and maybe a 3 drawer for smaller items like socks, panties, sleepwear. :)
Slowly but surely we'll settle in. It's only been a month and half so far!

@infatuatedbby : Yeah, I understand. Of-course, it will take few months. First, we will have one pattern and then we will get some better ideas to Organize. So, that's a non-stop Organizing work and it would surely test our art of sorting things.
Take your own time and enjoy doing so.

Yes, Michelle! I could totally relate to that. In fact, few months before, I too had the same situation. It took some good amount of time for me to shift my clothes from our baggages to the closet. I still feel I need to get couple of hangers more to Organize in a neat fashion.
Take your time and that's good to have enough space in the closet.

@smileyhema I'm glad you found a way that worked for you! That's cool!
I have a small wardrobe so certain clothes are hung while others are folded and put into my dressing table draws.

@VivaLaDani13 That's a good logic. Even I would stress for keeping the things in their place. I keep bugging my daughter now to keep her toys in her room whenever she completes using one activity. I can never tolerate the floor spread with so many things.

Yes, please try for your wardrobe. It surely helps in two ways : 1. It looks neatly organized 2. The clothes will tend to be free from wrinkle
