My husband has been applying for a new position which in his medical field which isn’t much since he isn’t a nurse he is a med tech which means he assists nurse in what they need and he can’t do IV lines or give meds. He applied for several clinical techs which he would be trained and get a certified license or badge for. The one place he really wanted he got notified yesterday that it was a close decision and they went with another person. But for her to keep applying for other spots. He already heard midweek that a spot at another location that is mental clinic tech wanted him. They offered him more money then he is making now and it a little bit closer to home. His drive would be cute to roughly 30 minutes be 1-2 hour drive to get to work. It would still be nigh shift but he would get done at 6:30 vs 7:30. So he said he would be able to come home and walk the kids to school for me in the morning after I get them up and ready for school. So after seeing he didn’t make is top choice he called his second choice to let them know he is accepted their offer. So now the rest is up to his current manger and his new manger to make the transfer official for Mid July. He hasn’t told family yet but he is excited to get his second choice. This would be technically a promotion for him and it is own step closer to being a nurse.

He will get training. They have to train you or you have to go to a train school to work in the medical field.

Yes! He likes that he wishes it was the other one because that one offered a bit more money and was a lot closer then his second choice. His second choice is close by 30 minute but the first was 15 minutes and next to our kids doctors offices.

I have always been a believer that if something you wanted doesn't work out for you, it just means something better is n the horizon. This is a great example! Congrats to him on landing the better job!

The better job wasn’t offered it was the second choice which he is fine with but he wanted his first choice because work for them for 2 years they get you into any medical places you want and position. It just means he needs to get a few more things under his belt medical wise.
