Found a dollar bill at the supermarket yesterday?

I was shopping at the supermarket yesterday and as I turned into an aisle I saw what looked like a wrinkled dollar bill.
I thought I was imagining things so got closer to double check.
It was indeed a dollar bill.
Since there was no one in the aisle at that moment I decided the bill was mine for the taking.
I happily picked it up and placed it in my pocket.
And later, at another supermarket, I found a shiny penny, which I also happily picked up.
I was $1.01 richer.
Find any dollar bills lately? Or maybe higher ones?

@psanasangma I remember finding three quarters on a bench. But odd thing was they were neatly stacked. Wonder why.

Second time a dollar was waiting for me. First time I saw one I did not pick it up because it was at the bottom of the escalator and there were many people behind me. I regret not getting it and when I went back to get it it was already gone of course.

Lucky indeed. My mom lost her cell phone a few years ago... We were able to find the location of the phone but when we got there the people living at that address told us they never found any phone. Wonder why their address was showing up when we did the find the phone thing on the iPhone.

@raveeen It was a bummer because she had just recently gotten it... But when we went to that address the couple living there turned out to be an elderly couple and they originally didn't wanna open the door because they had no idea who we were. They don't open the door to strangers.

No; but my husband lost his wallet. I think that's going backwards.

Oh no! Hope he didn't have a lot of cash in it! But it sucks because now you have to call the bank and the credit card probably and stop those cards from working and get replacement cards...

@lovebuglena Getting a new driver's license and credits cards, etc. is worse than losing the money.

Thanks. There are times when I see a coin and I am hesitant to pick it up. While I muster up the courage to pick it up someone doesn't hesitate and just picks it up.

I haven’t in awhile but when I was a kid and we owned laundromats I found $20, $50’s even $100’s in the filters o the dryers!

It is good to find money like that. The most I found at one time was 65 dollars.

$1 was the highest denomination I ever found, not counting higher bills I found in my own pockets that I didn't know were there.
