Last weekend, our family went to visit a friend. All was good, and everyone was happy. We left the friend's place at about 9 PM. I was driving on the highway with the minimum speed limit and was trying to go to the fast lane. Right in the middle of the highway, my car fan belt went loose, and it made steering the car very hard. Fortunately, there was a lay-by, nearby, and with the little steering, I could do I managed to park the car at the end of the lay-by. Spent about $50 to tow the car to the nearest exit. Spent the rest of the night on a cheap motel, in which the kids thought we're on a staycation. The next day, I spent $200 on repairs and fan belt replacement. I'm just glad we're safe.

I'm glad you're safe too. That must have been scary.
