Back from the gym

Today's semi-private session was just with one other woman and my favorite trainer. It was a good one! This is what we did:
1) Trap bar deadlifts (5 x 6, hold for 5 sec, 3, hold for 5 sec, 1)
2) a. Double dumbbell reverse deadlifts (4 x 12)
b. Hip extension (4 x 10)
3) a. Viking press (3 x 6, hold for 5 sec, 3, hold for 5 sec, 1)
b. Lateral dumbbell raises (3 x 10)
4) a. Alligator walk (3 x 50')
b. Side planks (3 x 15 sec L, 15 sec R)
The alligator walk was awful. You put your feet on these slidey things and then got into plank position and pulled yourself forward with your arms 50 feet. It was DIFFICULT, especially right after doing shoulders. I can already feel it in my abs so I know I'll be sore tomorrow.
Next workout is Thursday at 5 pm.

Well, I guess you can console yourself with the harder it is for you, likely the better it is for you.
