Binaural Beats-

I have had a lot of problems with headaches and not sleeping well the last few years. I found something on Youtube that helps, and it is free. It is called binaural beats. It is music with alternating beats. I can't begin to explain how it works, but it helps. I found one that works best for me and am sharing it with you. There are many other stress relief and symptom relief videos on Youtube. Important update: the video does not help with anything. It is listening to the sounds that is beneficial. The video is just for the sake of having a video. Important update: I read last night that watching the video does no good. It is only there for show. It is listening to the sounds that helps people. This one helped me the most with the headaches, stress, sleeping better, and other things. I am finding that it is easier for me to organize and clean since I started listening, something I never expected. I am not guaranteeing that it will help everyone. It is free and worth a shot. If one does not help, another might. Have you ever tried any of these videos? What was your experience with them? Did any of them help? Disclaimer: I get nothing for sharing this and I have no association with whoever produced it.

It is great for me. I know a lot of people have problems with migraines or sleeping. I hope it helps someone here and it is easy to move on if it doesn't.

@just4him Diet does not help everyone. This is just another idea, not a cure-all.

@akalinus Since I changed my diet a couple of years ago, I haven't had the headaches I did before. I had headaches/migraines every day. Now, maybe once a week and not that bad. I know all I need to do is eat and they're gone as I usually have one in the morning on waking up.

@akalinus I LOVE videos like this and listen to them often! To be honest, I don't know if there is real science behind them or it's a placebo but either way, if it helps, then that's brilliant. I have used many different kinds. I used them when I used to have gallbladder attacks, use it for trying to sleep, relax, headaches, period pains, colds, anxiety. And other things.

That is great. I don't know how it works. I know I sleep better. I used to go every other night without sleeping at all. I feel a lot better just to get some sleep.

@VivaLaDani13 I can tell you that it helps me sleep and helps with stress and some other things. I can tell you that I don't know if it would help you. You just need to try it and see. I know people lie to build up a channel but I came upon this by chance and it helps me.

@akalinus I'm really glad these work for you. You've actually done me a favour as I like to hear results from people I have spoken to before. So many people leave positive comments on YouTube saying it worked but it's hard because I've not spoken to them before and so many people lie and even the owners of the channel will make false accounts to hype up their videos. Reading what you've said just helps me to know these videos can do what they say they do.

Thanks for sharing. I don't have a problem with migraines but it's good to know that there is something that one can try to get relief. I have some friends that are seriously affected.

@1hopefulman It is great if it works for you. If it does not help your friends, suggest that they try other ones until they find the right one.

@LadyDuck I just put the phone on a small table near my bed. I just let the sounds put me to sleep. I don't need to look at the video part.

I've never even heard of this before, Jo Ann. Maybe it will help with the migraines I get. (I used to get them all the time but haven't had one in several months.) I'll bookmark that so I can try it next time I get one. Thank you!

@crazyhorseladycx You must have bad internet. We live in a poor reception area and it took years for the tech people to fix it so it is usable. Still have trouble, though.

I think you just need to look for what is good for you. I tried a couple of the stress relief videos and thought they were annoying. I kept trying different ones. The one I shared works for me but maybe not for everyone.

If you have a bad headache, anything is worth a try. This is legal and you can turn it off if you don't like it.

It is interesting. All it does is go around and the different parts stretch and shrink. It is the sound that is intriguing. At least, I think so. Of course, one size does not fit all.

First time I encountered the tern Binaural Beats. Thanks for posting an example. I did not listen long though because I somehow found the sound creepy, as in the sound effects in thriller movies. Honestly, I got scared. I did think I was being hypnotized into something. But then my hearing sense is quite sensitive. I think the effect of two tones in a pervading monotone is haunting for me. As for the physical conditions, perhaps classical and sacred music could help, and walking is good for stress release. Just a suggestion,

If listening to something creeps you out, turn it off. There might be another stress relief video out there that soothes you.

i've seen binaural beats for many things like to attract love, affection, money, love and stuff like that, but i've also read that those things are not that good and that they can cause some damage to your brain.

I have been looking at different ones for losing weight, spiritual peace, and positive thinking. Some have really annoying music that keeps me awake. I found one labeled spiritual peace that is really helping. I think it is affirmations with a delta wave. I really should look that up to see if it is harmful. There is one for giving up sugar and junk food but you have to stare at a candle flame and I don't have time for that.
