Ten TV Series That “Everybody” Watched Including Me: Night Court (#10)

So you know what I didn’t watch (or ten of the more popular shows that I didn’t watch), and you’re thinking, “Does she even have a TV?” Believe it or not, there are actually a few shows I’ve seen every episode of. Lots of shows I watched with regularity enough to call myself a fan at some point of the show’s run. Occasionally the shows were popular, too! So here are ten popular shows that I watched. Take it from the top!
#10: Night Court
Harry Anderson was, for years, the only actor I’d ever met. He did a brief tour of his comedy/magic show while Night Court was on hiatus one summer, and I drove to Cleveland to see him.
The show that made him a star? NUTS. Positively INSANE. There was nothing you could think of that didn’t happen on that show. Heck, Judge Stone (Anderson’s character) even had Wile E. Coyote in front of him during one episode!
A brilliant ensemble cast anchored by four-time Emmy winner John Larroquette (who, like the show, would do anything for a laugh [which is why he won all those Emmys]) as the snobbish, sex-obsessed assistant D.A., Night Court was part of the Thursday night “Must-See TV” lineup on NBC. For me, it was the “don’t miss” show of the evening. I could skip Cheers (where Anderson, as “Harry the Hat” the con man, got his acting start) occasionally because Diane got on my nerves, but Night Court and I had a date every Thursday night.
It is one of the very few TV series that I have every episode of on DVD. And I promise you, I can annoy you with Night Court trivia (for instance, the laugh you heard at the end of the closing credits was series creator Reinhold Weege).

Selma sadly passed away after the show's second season. She was a great character for sure!

You met Harry Anderson? ::: Bowing :: I"m Not Worthy! I'm Not Worthy! I'm Not Worthy!!!!
Yes, Night Court is another show I keep on enjoying due to Syndicated TV. The Laff Channel plays it several times throughout the weekdays. Yes, Judge Stone and Co were comedy at it's comedyest! I loved all the cameos for up and comers and used to wassers passing through his courtroom.
I also loved when they made fun of Reinhold Weege's name. The look on Christine Sullivan's face when she said "Reinhold?" when they revealed Dan Fielding's real name was television history! lol
But to tell you the truth, I liked Markie Post's character on Fall Guy (Terri Michaels) better than Christine Sullivan. But I bet both were a blast for Markie Post to play!
