Honey Suckles are out!! How delectable and Sweet!! One of the sweet things about spring!! Among Grandmother's treasures was honey suckle perfume!! Even tried to eat them as a kid!! Have u honey suckles in your garden?! What's your favorite scented flower??!!

Used to try to squeeze the honey dew out of the very thin stem!! A small drop of honey would rise to the tip!! Think this is what the perfume is made of!! Used to try to eat this honey dew!!

That must be a pretty sight!!! Never saw a pink honey suckle!! Want to make perfume out of them!! Gardenia also makes a lovely perfume!!

Growing up, we had honeysuckle plants all over the place in our yard, and all of us neighborhood kids would excitedly look forward to their blooms so we could suck on them for the sweetness. It was always fun!
