Hi everyone.I wanted to share my experience with a terrible driving instructor.I have my own car and have been driving for over an year.I can say that I am good driver and a safe driver.I failed my test due to hyper anxiety and made stupid mistake, like not looking over my shoulder when reversing. There are also some hidden traps for learners,so if you dont know the area really well you fail. For this reason I decided to book an instructor(I was driving with a friend of mine)b so he can show me roads ,roundabouts, crossroads that can be tricky. After the first lesson he told me that I am a good driver and after a week I will be ready for the test. So,I went for the test and we started driving along. His attitude was absolutely disgusting.Bear in mind that this was 2 hours before the test.He was constantly shouting to me,asking me to repeat loudly his instructions, breaking harshly(there was not any situation to request his involvement in breaking),grabbing the steering wheel. Then he said that I dont know what I was doing. At this point I lost it.I stopped the car and said"No,I had enough. You made me so stressed that I am not able to take the test now."Then he said that if I wasnt ready he would have told me and insisted that I should go.I refused and we agreed that he will give me part of the fees back. So from a driver who is safe and ready for the test I was told that I dont know what I am doing.I am so disappointed.Instead of giving support and encouragement,he did exactly the opposite.

Things like this happen. That was just a bad timing.

It is important that you are able to be as calm and focused as possible for your test. I think a different instructor would be better for you. It couldn't hurt to request another instructor. They should have a couple different ones.
