I'm Still Waiting for My Minority Benefits!

I am Red Headed, Freckle Faced, Left Handed, Colorblind with Food Allergies. This makes me about as "minority" as it gets. It also means that I have disabilities that make it not only ok and ethical to make fun of me, it's also legal to discriminate against me.
Even though I can't always distinguish which light is the Red and the Green ones, I am still responsible to know which light it is anyway. Colorblindness isn't an excuse for misreading the light.
When I was in Jr. High I wanted to follow in my father's footsteps and go into Electronic Engineering. About 3 days into my Intro to Electronics class I learned that dream could never happen. Color is everything in electronics.
Left Handed people statistically have a shorter life expectancy than our Right handed friends and neighbors, yet here is no International Left Handed Cross or department of the World Health Organization protecting us from the ravages of a Right Hand world.
Do you realize how many yummy things they can legally put Walnuts and Pecans in? Sure, those tree nuts make those yummy things irresistible, but alas and alac, I'm forced to resist. Oh the Humanity!!!
I can't even use the Pride Flag to rally around, since well.. it discriminates against us Colorblind folks... even the Gay ones.
So where is our Month? Where are our Benefits? Even when we bring it up in humorous posts like this one, all we come off as is just being funny! ;~)

lol true, I left those out. As Redheads, we don't even get souls! How's that for discrimination. Also, it's still legal and considered ethical to make fun of our freckles.
Try growing up in the 60s and 70s with red hair and freckles. Every time Ron Howard landed a new role, I picked up a brand new nickname ! ;~D
