I Don't Have To Dip My Chips

As I may have mentioned my wife and I had a party last weekend and wound up with way more food than we needed. Now is the chore of trying to figure out what to do with all that potato salad, coleslaw, bratwurst, hamburgers, buns, and whatever else is left.
Including the tubs of dip we had left like French Onion and whatever else.
There are casseroles like a meat and rice bake which actually calls for sour cream. I could substitute the sour cream for the dip actually. I could make mashed potatoes and toss some of it in the mix with those. Or I could bake some potatoes and use it as a topping.
The key is just to let nothing go to waste, be creative as possible, and use this stuff up.

@VoiceofTruth7 Yes, our family always did this, when there were so many leftovers!

We've used French Onion dip for sour cream before. It's delicious. Can any of the food be given to a food bank?

@porwest My husband used to polish off a tub of French onion dip and a bag of chips all the time.

We always send home plates with our guests. Of course, most of them are my family and they all each have their own special food that they like that I normally cook or have.

I remember a layered dish a co worker once brought to one of our office get togethers, she simply layered leftovers so that it looked like some kind of pizza or what not, it was actually pretty too with reds, greens and of course tater colors. Hey, make a whacky pizza.

After my son's open house party, we had tons of food leftover the next day. There was a knock on my door and two ladies from the church stopped by, right at lunch time! So I filled the dining-room table with leftover and we shared a meal together:)

Sometimes that's the best way to get rid of stuff, especially when there's a lot. I don't mind freezing stuff, but even sometimes there's too much stuff to freeze. But either way, it all has to get used up. I do NOT throw food away. Ever. I mean, unless it's gone bad of course.
