Saying "fine" when you are not....

Sometimes when people greet me and ask " how am I doing?" I reply saying "I am fine", when I really wanted to say I pissed, fed up and irritated... Stop asking me this that how am I doing.... Hehehe
You sometimes I feel it takes immense courage to pretend and say that you are doing fine when everything around you is falling apart and you are struggling like hell.
I appreciate those kind of people, I mean this is the sign of strength... Truly...

It's because you don't want to bother others, do you? That's the best way to answer them.

@Nakitakona, it's not only that, why answer that way, simply not to offend them my friend. If we strike , our friends will turn away from us may have bad feelings towards us.

@Aansh13 I answer questions that way almost all the time. I say I'm fine, alright or ok even when I'm not. I prefer to give the quick impression that I'm fine rather than a long conversation about why I'm not.

I agree with your stand, that it's not easy to pretend. How we like to voice out what's in our mind and heart to stop those people who might have sensed us in trouble. How nice to tell them " mind your own business."
