I Picked Out a Book Today Because of a Mural

I decided to walk to the library this morning to get some more books. My path took me downtown and past a mural that was painted on one of the buildings a couple years ago. I never paid much attention to it before but, this time, saw it was about Raymond Z. Gallun, a science fiction author who was born here. Somewhat intrigued, I looked for one of his books while at the library and ended up checking out two of them, Ten to the Stars and The Conquerors. I'm not sure what to expect, especially since I don't usually read science fiction (especially classic science fiction, which is usually pretty dated). But, it might be a pleasant surprise.

It's the best opportune time to know him and why he is being painted on the wall of the building. And share to us what you know about his books.
