In my life many things have changed, Computers in almost every home, cell phones in almost every pocket, cost of living is much higher, pay is higher, no pay phones on every corner, but there is a Walgreens or CVS to replace them. So much has changed and I'm not sure it is for the better really.

One thing that keeps on changing on Oahu is geography in the way of new structures or like now the rail is being built on the leeward side where I live and commute. We have a small rail connecting Pearlridge Mall, so rail is nothing new to us. Some places are gone for good now like a small set of businesses...salon, restaurant all demolished to make way for the rail. Some businesses retired like Dee Lite bakery that's been around for a long time since I was a kid and now I'm a Senior Citizen, so along with the changes geography changes a lot. Beaches being eroded now when I was young it was a lovely beach. Some structures totally got an upgrade with new buildings too. Prices universally goes up with your pay goes up. How about your hometown lots of new buildings replacing old ones too?

That's sad for we need forests for not only animals but for land conservation and so much more. The children should know forests too. So much has changed since my grandparents days living on island of Oahu too. When you see old pictures of how it was when they were alive, it's very different. I like some of the changes from dirt roads to highways and freeways though. Love new things like hospitals, supermarkets and etc, but there are so many changes. At least children can see how it was back then, with seeing it online.

Definitely computers, they have certainly changed throughout the years, but most things really have changed quite a bit through the years.

I remember when I was a kid - hamburger meat was "cheap". We had it often. In fact so much that I got sick of it. Now it's more expensive again.

Hhhmm, everything has changed and it's normal my friend. Go with the change. Go with the trend. Or else you'll be left behind.

Everything changes. I don't know anything that stayed the same.
