A long busy week ending with Father’s Day

I had Physical therapy on my shoulder twice this week. He thinks I had a partially torn rotator cuff and bone spur. I have to continue the Physical therapy twice a week for the rest of the month then get a follow up appointment with the doctor I saw and get an MRI done. I made 3 new recipes this week. The Best Potato salad and Butterscotch fudge were okay but the Lemonade Rice Krispie Treats were awful. Tuesday was my daughters last day of school. She finished 9th grade ranked #1 of 53 kids with a GPA of 99.7. After school we ate lunch at IHOP. My son got the jr churro pancake kids menu meal and loved it. My daughter wasn’t happy with what she got though which was a half stack of New York Cheesecake Pancakes. We did a little browsing around some shops. We found 2 fairy doors and visited 4 Little Free Libraries. Completing our day out we went to the discount cinema which was offering free admission and saw Shazam. On the way home we stopped for ice cream. Wednesday my friends dog needed to go to the vet so they were down to one vehicle. I picked her and her kids up and took them to the park with us where I had a get together celebrating summer vacation. My van started acting up on my way to pick her up. It smelled bad and was chugging and the Drive light was flashing. Thankfully when I started it back up it drove fine on the way home. Since that day it’s done it intermittently and my boyfriend said it indicates the transmission has a major issue. When I got home from the park I saw at my parents house across the street their car was being put up on a tow truck. Bad luck on this hill I guess. Friday my daughter went out and finished he fairy door trail by finding the last 3. We got to meet on of he fairy door owners who helped give us a hint where one was hidden since we had a hard time finding it before. At the very last fairy door was an art gallery we got to look around. I looked at a few car dealerships with no luck. We did a little shopping while out. On the way home I picked my boyfriends son up who spent the night while his dad was with friends were in upstate Ny fishing. Saturday I drove my boyfriends son home at 5:30 am and then my kids and I spent about 2 hours setting the yard sale out. The kids made $62.45 and $20 of that was just a donation from their grandfather. It was a very gusty day. I had the dog on my lap and my tablet. The wind grabbed the tent and I grabbed the tent leg nearest me to hold it. No one else grabbed a leg when I yelled at them to so when the tent blew over backwards it knocked the dog and I in the chair over. The kids found that hilarious. Today I went to my boyfriends house and gave him the gifts you see in the photo. I was waiting on a text from my mom to tell me when she left the pizza place so I would know it was time to head home. Her estimate was 4 or 5 or later. Well she didn’t message me until after 5 and told me the pizza was there and they had already attacked it but would keep some warm for us. I was furious. Then she said there was 2 pizzas left. By the time we got there there was only 1 left and she hid upstairs the whole time acting like an immature teenager.
