Do you feel like that turning on a fan while the air conditioner is working?

Although I sit at the working desk nearly an air conditioner, it doesn't do its work!
By the way, my back is near a porch, thus I feel a bit hot wave hanging around me during 2-3 pm.
Then, usually I will turn on a fan to bring some cool air to me. But, after 10 minutes or so, feel like a little bit cold. Later, turn it off.
A few minutes later, feel like a little bit hot, then turn on again. Several rounds of turning on and turning off. HAHAHA.
Have you experienced these before?

Fan is not enough for summer here. It is much hot outside and inside.

Actually sometimes we did. But most of the time we just increase the fan speed in the air conditioner. By the way, did you checked the room area? Room area should match the air conditioner's capacity. The room might be too big. Or the air conditioner is just dirty, which restricts the air flow.

@Behindtheguitarbar we had this case one, when someone turned on a 0.5 HP air conditioner in a large room. We barely felt anything. But seeing how you are using a high wall type, I think cleaning the filter will do the trick.

Oh, It reminds me. Maybe our office is a little bit bigger than the air conditioner's capacity.

Here is up to 35 degree Celsius (95 degree F)in summer. Thus, it is hardly imagine that life without air conditioners.

I have AC and I had my ceiling fan going last week. I was hot. I used a blanket if I got cold from the fan.
