I have come across many interesting discussions, I read them entirely but then I don't really understand what to respond on them....
May be it's my incapability....
I then like them and leave without responding, I know this may not be a great thing to do but I don't really know what to say...
Do you face something similar at times...?

sometimes reading through the responses and comments helps you understand the topic, especially if the post-owner has started answering. then you can join in the parts where you have something to say or even ask.

It's like that at first. I know that when I enter in a conversation there is always a 50/50 chance that I will make someone think I am trying to be a bit pushy. I usually will first let others talk back and forth when it is live. But when it's like it is here, If I don't comment, people won't know how I feel about the subject and nothing gets said.

I tend to think that if you have nothing to say, it's better to say nothing. But it's nice that you 'like' first so people can see you read. Not all posts stimulate responses. Some are a bit 'So what?' and others leave you thinking 'I have nothing to add'.

But I like the discussion because it's a kind of warm gesture... That's it, nothing specific

Yes, there are many. Some lack organization. Some are merely a question. Some are very long. Some are series of activities. I just skim them and leave.
