The best natural remedy for sensitive irritated skin!

Sometimes I have bad skin days and for me it`s not pimples, but redness and irritation, which can be provoked by cold weather or sweet &| salty food. The last thing I want is to treat my skin in a harsh indelicate manner. The only thing which I put on my face is a mask of oats, soaked in warm water. I apply it as a mask for few mins and rinse with lukewarm water. It cleanses and gently exfoliates my skin, removing redness and irritation, leaving it velvety soft and calmed. No creams or lotions needed. Just simple oats which you eat for breakfast. Simple, easy and most effective. If You get irritation or redness on your skin, just relax my friend and take some oats!

@Julie555 I use it without salt, salt dries my skin too much and irritates more.

Thank you for commenting. I used baking soda, but unfortunately it didn't suit me,though I use it mixed with salt as a natural body scrub

Oatmeal is the best natural treatment for the skin. I’ve tried it myself and what you said is true.

Mostly Quaker oats, but overall it doesn't matter which brand you use, unless it is clean and not processed.
